Im being targeted they call 40 times a day with the real Ei canada gov number as call display saying same message above some have reporter it...your sin aas suspended due to suspicious activity press one to hear about your case...scary i almsot did it but thankfully Googled and found this info first. What theyre doing is illegal but thryre likely in iran or sonething so...

Scammers using EI Text line to get people to provide them information. Call back and receive information in regards to it. Service Canada has this exact number so don't be fooled. Just hang up and call right back.

Its a scam, they try to scare you into giving up your information (Scam call) reported by


First, a robot sounding machine gives an announcement saying that you have been flagged for some illegal activity or whatever. The scammer then asks you to transfer to an agent, which threatens you ( in my case the guy could barely speak English and kept asking me for a case number). They later proceeded to ask for my information "to confirm" my identity. That's how you get scammed into giving your private information away. Government entities never call for these type of things.

Fraud linked to my SIN (Scam call) reported by


I missed a call from this number twice today. A voice message was left for me indicating that the call is from legal department of Service Canada. The message stated that a fraudulent act has been linked with my SIN and they have taken some legal action against me. I was threatened that if I don't pick the call or if I decided to ignore the call, that the case will be transferred to federal high court and my arrest will be initiated immediately. I thereafter checkup the number online and found out it is Service Canada EI number. I then call the number and the lady I spoke with told me the call is a scam. I had not even finish explaining the content of the call when the lady said they told you the call is from legal department. She told me to disregard the call and that it is a scam. Please let us all watch out for this useless and miserable being.

I got the exact same call saying I was being flagged by some iligal activities and that I need to give them my bank balance or else they will freeze my account
