[Owner] and I answered at the same time. He was out in our very loud shop so it was difficult to hear what she was saying. At first I thought it was a silent call, but afer a pause a woman came on the line. Asian sounding woman, I think she said, "Hello [owner's first name]?" He said yes; she said she was from somewhere (it sounded like CDL) then she started in something about your business has been preapproved ... I told [owner] to hang uip and he did. I asked her who she was with and she hung up.

Some woman called asking for XXX. Asked her what this was about several times. She would not answer. Eventually she hung up. Tried calling the number back, but recording said that I could not call the number from my phone. Tried a different phone and only got busy signal. At best this is a nuisance call, at worst a criminal threat.

Caller with a "furrin" accent asked for business owner with invalid name. Asked her for details. Accent bad but it sounded like she was wanting to lend me money. I said, "So, you are laundering money?" She said she was from the the government. I said, "You are a **** liar! Good-bye." I hung up.

A woman by the name of Amelia called saying she was with Business Lending and asked for our business owner (by name). When I said they were not in the office, could I take a message, she asked for a business email. When I said I couldn't give her an email until I knew what the call was pertaining to, she abruptly hung up on me before I finished my sentence. SCAM!
