I came home to find my Mother in tears after they called. (Debt collector) reported by


My parents have paid every single bill/debt promptly and in full their entire lives. Their credit rating is excellent, for all the trolls that have posted. I came home to find my Mother crying and almost hysterical because this company, which did *not* identify themselves or the company they we're representing harassed and confused her about a $90 dollar debt that they were not ever billed for and had confirmation from insurance would be fully paid. Luckily, their phone does a transcription of all answered calls. They were closed when I called back but you better believe I'm reporting this. If the transcript is as bad as my Mom describes (why would she lie when she was so ashamed to be accused?) I will post it elsewhere and the follow up tomorrow when they deal with me. If you haven't already, educate your parents about never giving out personal info over the phone/internet. My Mom was ashamed and confused but she remembered to never give out any personal info and always ask for any bills/debts in writing. Which was likely what caused the harassment. I just read this to my Mom to confirm I got the situation right and she told me she ended up hanging up on the representative because of the harassment. She also told me it was a bill for a service that she hasn't even had yet...it's scheduled for tomorrow. I'm confused as to why this would be a debt collector issue and I will also be leaving a Google review at the doctor's office. Because this is just an insane way to do business.

It turns out I've been sending checks to them for years, because they handle the local hospital's normal billing. But they are the most disorganized company you could imagine, and the debt collection arm is the worst. Their data is garbage but they can't give up because it's their job. Story time: Out of the blue, they called me. I called back, got a message like "Press 1 to join the sweepstakes", then it hung up and I assumed it was a scam. Next month, they called repeatedly. I called them back, spent 30 minutes on hold, and they denied ever calling me or that they have any business with me. Next month, calling my old address repeatedly, looking for me. I haven't lived there for 20 years. It gets worse from there. I've been on the phone with them several times (hours on hold!) and while they've always been pleasant to talk to, I still don't know what the bill is for. They don't know what the bill is for either, or why the record has my name but not my phone number, birthdate, address, or insurance, like every other bill they've sent me and I paid promptly. But it's in their computer, so they won't stop contacting me, neighbors, family members. I can't help but wonder how many of the thousands of dollars I've sent them have also been for garbage bills with no line items or insurance. Thank you for letting me vent.

I suspect if must be a debt collecter. Their practices are heinous. I will look up my credit report. If I find anything outstanding on that I will deal with it but not through this company. They are dispicable.

Was going through my missed calls and see that this place has been calling me but Verizon spam filter blocks it as spam everytime so it never comes through. With so many scammers out there, Just don't trust it enough to call it back.

I return call and spoke with a pleasant person. When I told them my Dad died while in the hospital they asked my Dad’s name and told me there must have been a mix up my Dad’s account was closed. They were contacted by the hospital my Dad died in and wrote it off..
