They call with a fake 4 digit number that they claim is one of your credit cards and that they've found suspicious activity on the card. They verify phone number, etc. I have no card ending in those numbers. IT's a scam.

It IS a legitimate number. But scammers can spoof this number. When you get a call from this number, hang up after hearing who it is for. Then call the 1-800 number or your bank directly.
