I was contacted re: my SBA loan application... was for $17,000... never filed for one! I told the guy it was a fraudulent app and he responded accordingly indicating he'd tell the fraud dept.. I asked for the fraudulent app to be emailed to me and said he would... Have not yet seen it... shady...

The email I received had all the correct info regarding my loan. I wrote back to appropriate questions, not giving any personal info. The email address did look legit. I'll come back here if it turns ugly.

NEVER APPLIED. CALLED OUT OF THE BLUE. ABSOLUTELY FRAUD! Hi this is Jackie Melcher with the Small Business Administration and I'm trying to reach . My number is 1-800-366-6303 ext. 7279 and I just wanted to confirm that they received the email that I sent last Friday regarding the economic injury disaster loan application that was submitted. Someone may have used your info to apply for a loan then if you didn't. This is the actual number to SBA. I've been communicating with them through this number to get updates on my EIDL loan status.

THis is absolutely a SCAM. They are using a valid Caller ID number to get you to believe them. I called the number (which is the real SBA) and they confirmed that I should disregard any call I get. BTW, i never applied for a loan - and here they are calling me regarding the Loan I applied for. Well, there you go! SCAM!
