Number checks out - it matches the SBA's web page (https://www.sba.gov/offices/disaster/dapdc). Got the call because they had questions about my EIDL application. The SBA does work on weekends.

I called them back and they said they were the Small Business Administration. But I had second thoughts cause it is a Sunday. What government office calls on a Sunday?

What number did they call from? We also got a call yesterday(Sunday May 31,2020) saying they were from the SBA. We also received an email.

I didn’t get a call and didn’t ask for disaster loan. I didn’t get an email either. It showed up on my credit report. It showed up as New Activity and New Inquiry about a loan . I called it and they answered- Hi this is Henry, how can I help you? He then put me on hold for a bit and I then hung up. I can’t dispute it online. Has this shown up on anyone’s credit report??

The SBA does work on Saturdays and Sundays. They actually work 7 days a week!

This appeared on my credit report. I am so tired of chasing down scams. I called they didn't say who they were until I asked, shouldn't a government office answer as such.

I got an alert on my Experian. Called the number they had on file on some loan application. I asked who they were and was told "Small Business Admin". Then, I proceeded to ask why my report was being checked. They asked for my name but I only gave them my first name. When I refused to give them my last name, the person said "I cannot help you" and hung up.

I had a feeling this was not legit. I called the SBA- they confirmed LOAN OFFICERS DO NOT CALL YOU regarding your disaster relief funds! All communication is via email!

This is a legit SBA Disaster assistant number, on the COVID-19 loan, if you didn't pick up, your loan will not be processed. Because they need to verify your identity and bank information. I called the 1-800-659-2955 number after receiving call from this number, and the SBA agent saw the call log from the loan officer I spoke to from this number just minutes ago.
