It’s a woman it’s regarding some BOA service matter. And asked me to verify zip code or date birth. I hesitated to do so, and then she said zip code is not that private. What?... anyway it feels weird so i said I will just call back using the number on the back of my credit card. Honestly I never received a call like that from BOA

They say they are from b of a (Scam call) reported by


They left a message saying they are from B of A. I needed to call them back at the number and there is an issue with our account. They would need my SS# and other identification. I MUST call back immediately. I have had this same scam call before, so I called THE NUMBER ON THE BACK OF OUR CREDIT CARD. AGAIN spoke with A REAL person ACTUALLY FROM B of A. They checked our accounts, as we do have 2 different types with them, they found ABSOLUTELY NO Problem with either of them. They are current as they are taken out ELECTRONICALLY!! THEY TOLD ME THE EXACT SAME THING AS BEFORE, DO NOT ANSWER THOSE CALLS, DO NOT CALL THEM BACK AS IT IS A SCAM TO GET YOUR SS# AND PERSONAL INFORMATION!! ALWAYS CALL THE NUMBER ON THE BACK OF YOUR CREDIT CARD, NEVER CALL A NUMBER OF A CALLER, AS THE BANK WILL NOTIFY YOU BY MAIL IF THERE IS AN ISSUE!!
