They asked if I was ........ I asked what they wanted. I told them I did not want to buy anything. The lady said they were not selling anything. Call was in reference to my BOA card. Asked my Mothers maidan name and asked if my card ended in ####. I did not tell her anything, but to not call again. Very strange call. It sounded like they were trying to get information from me.

When I answered the phone it was woman claiming she was with Bank of America calling in regards to my credit card ending in number XXXX. She said she had one security question to ask to confirm it was me which was the month and day of my birthday (unfortunately I gave it to her before realizing it was a scam). She said she was calling in regards to the balance on my card which totaled $66. She stated that the last payment was made in $25 and in October and in order for my balance to be brought up to date I needed to make a payment of $66 today. I knew it was immediately a scam because I HAVE MORE THAN A $66 BALANCE ON MY BOA CREDIT CARD RIGHT NOW. I told her no, I'm not making a payment and if she called me again my lawyer would be contacting her and hung up. BACKGROUND: I did have my debit card skimmed somewhere recently and THANK GOODNESS BOA caught it before they took any money from me. That was literally yesterday morning I spoke with the real BOA. I'm assuming the woman that called me was in some way affiliated with my card being skimmed. BEWARE of this number/scam. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION
