Presented as ConEd tp turn off electricity in 30min (Scam call) reported by


Pointed that our bills are not paid (everything is paid on our part), and coming to turn off electricity in half hour. Calling as courtesy call. Haha! Gave us a number to call the main office to clarify the situation, a cell phone number that is disconnected:646-556-7478x1 Said will call in 30-40min to see what happened. Told him he is scam and not to call back and hang up. Don't get fulled! Also spoke with ConEd, everything is in perfect condition with our account. ConEd advised if they call again to report them to the police.

Person claimed our power was going to be turned off because we did not pay our bill (but we did). I told him we pay online and he got aggressive and said he "would come out here himself and get in my face and tell me we haven't paid" I hung up on him.
