I just got a call from this phone number and they are saying it was Apple saying there was suspicious activity with my iCloud account and to stay on the line to speak to someone about it. So I googled the number and I see all these other folks saying that it’s Comcast calling them about a problem with their account. I’m thinking red flag I don’t think Comcast and Apple would call from the same phone number.

Daily then weekly my smartphone rings From an 800#. I answer it saying good day. I listen to long pause (typical multiple-line autodialer occurrence). Man with Asian accent begins lies stating that he is calling from Comcast and that my Internet modem is receiving errors on their end thus not allowing updates to be uploaded successfully. Then I am asked to go to my computer so we may resolve. I usually state that: I have already returned all of my rented Comcast equipment OR I am not a Comcast customer, OR I don't lease internet service. Sometimes immature person raises their voice exclaiming "why?" repeatedly until I lose patience and push end call. Usually, though, I notice he doesn't reply, instead ending call and going on to the next "live answer" multi-line autodialed targeted victim. When you are targeted by this unnamed person, I suggest you patiently ask them to spell their name at the beginning of call and then simply ask them to provide you with which of your account numbers this call is concerning. The replys by this energetic and criminal nuisance caller may come. Once I requested to be added to his employer's do not call list. I still receive these stalker calls though.

indian says comcast wants to cut my bill in half and give me a $100. voucher. I will just pay 4 months in advance. I kept saying ok . The "supervisor" kept trying to elisit a "yes" from me. He became exasperated. I hung up.LOL

man called- said i had 21 devices on my router and they (comcast) were concerned router firewall was compromised. wanted me to access a "router website". I asked for him to tell me my Comcast account number- he hung up. I called Comcast and was told it was a scam. Phone number showed up as a legit Comcast phone number- BEWARE!!!!!!

The legitimate Comcast keeps customers on hold forever and tries to fix problems remotely. So I always make an appointment for a technician visit and scrutinize the truck and employees identity. Reported COMCAST hack to Comcast, FBI and local police.
