Robocall message says Norton security needs to be updated and I should press 1 to speak to someone. I don't see anything about this on Xfinity website. I suspect if it was Comcast they'd say to call them. Why wouldn't they email me or send a notice? Suspected scam!

Man with Indian accent claims your Xfinity account has been compromised and you need to get on your computer so I can resolve the issue. Asked what is my account number? His reply was oh we have a new account number...again asked him what is my original account number? Sir we will resolve this just need to access your computer..told him to get the ________! off....this is a SCAM!.............click! DO NOT EVER GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OR ALLOW ANYONE TO TELL YOU TO ACCESS YOUR COMPUTER.....NO COMPANY WILL EVER CALL YOU.....IF IN DOUBT...PUT THEM ON HOLD AND CALL THE COMPANY DIRECTLY! THEN HANG UP!

The caller id showed Comcast Cable. The person calling said that he was calling to report that my internet and email was being accessed by two other people. He told me their names. I did not recognize those names. He gave me three IP Addresses to write down and asked me how many lights were blinking on my modem. He said that if I was at my computer he could help me to block unauthorized users from accessing my computer. I told him I was not home and he said he would have another technician call me back today at 3pm. I am going to report this call to Comcast.

I got a call from 800-934-6489, said he was with Xfinity (sp?) and used my maiden name not my married name that I've used since getting married 13 years ago. Said something about my modem, I laughed. He said and I quote "Stop laughing b**ch", I told him I don't have Xfinity ****, and he hung up. Totally a scam call.

The he obvious Indian accent said I had not updated my computer lately. I said I had auto updates from Microsoft and would not allow him access to my machine. I asked if meh knew my name, for his location and to speak to his supervisor---silence. Could hear background chatter. I asked if he was going to provide information, no reply. I think they are hoping for someone to say some key words like yes, name, something. I just said that if he refused to give my any information I asked for then he has proven it was a scam call and said good evening and hung up.

overseas pharmacy from India trying to sell fake counterfeit and illegal drugs to the American people, they use spoof technology to change there number to look like a local phone number, they text or call me 10 times a day from different numbers, this must be stopped
