robo voice saying 1049 charged to chase debit card. I don't have a chase debit card. I was silent the whole time and it rang off while I was typing the number in to investigate. SCAM

Had some information about me and asked me to verify the informat (Scam call) reported by


Said they were from Chase Fraud Services and that someone had made some purchases on my card in Miami, FL. They tried to get me to reset my user name and password. I made an excuse and asked them to call me back in 20 minutes. I then Called Chase and was told that no charges had been made to my account. They are sending a new card.

Got a message on a Sunday evening in an Indian accent that Chase bank fraud department needs to speak with me. I called back the real Chase bank number from their website and they confirmed the fraud department does have a question on a recent transaction I made. They said the message came from a backup department that makes calls on behalf of the main departments. Now, the accent and timing of the call makes sense.

This is a 100% scam. They say that they are calling from Cahse bank fraud dept about some BS charges being made in a foreign country for a few different charges. They are always calling me in an foreign language. The thing is I don't have a checking account with that bank but just play along with them. They have called me 4 or 5 times now with this same S**t and once called out they always hang up. They always try and get your debit card info

Voicemail said $1099.99 had been charged to card attachemazon acc (Scam call) reported by


"Unknown" caller from 800-935-9935 left poor quality voice mail claiming $1099.99 had been charged to the credit card attached to my Amazon account. They further claimed they were convinced by the amount (?)that it was a fraudulent charge so they froze the purchase. Then the call trailed off. I discovered online that the number belongs to Chase bank - with whom I do absolutely NO business. Finding "Should I Answer" brought resolve when I read that others have received similar calls. If you get a call that appears to be from this number, it's likely a scammer spoofing his caller ID. Basically, the only time an incoming call from this number this would be legitimate is if you had called this number before and you were expecting a call back.

Fraud: don’t answer (Robocall) reported by


Robo call impersonating Amazon, claiming that over a thousand dollars have been charged to my account, which they suspected to be fraudulent, and were notifying me to verify. I suspect that if I called back, I would be asked to provide them with personal financial information that would allow them to steal my identity. Also, by law, we are protected from anyone making unauthorized purchases to our accounts made by credit card.

Same as Jeff's experience but it showed up as Chse Jpmorgan robocall claiming over a thousand dollars had been charged to card for a phone, then it disconnected. I am also protected by my card service but had identity stolen previously and am uber cautious! These people disgust me and I hope that karma is real!!!

I can confirm this is a fraud call. They said someone was attempting to log on to my account so they needed to LOCK IT and I needed to reset my login info. I called Chase bank afterward and they stated that they would never call me to tell me that. If you call the number back it sounds like Chase's automated service but it's not. Chase confirmed.
