I received a call from this number on my cell phone. I answered the call. The caller said they were from SSA and needed to verify information that had been submitted. Without thinking, I went over the information with them. They called because of a discrepancy in my work history. We verified the information. I wasn't even thinking about it being a Saturday. I googled the number and I saw everything about this being a scam. I received a copy of the paperwork today which they said I would be receiving to retain for my records. This number is from the Workload Support Unit, Social Security Administration, Mid-America Program Service Center, PO Box 15368, Kansas City, MO 64106.

No this isn't the SSI Report to credit bureau, file police report and get identity theft protection immediately also file complaint with your local SSI OFFICE. SSI WILL NEVER CALL YOU AND ASK FOR INFO they will mail you even for a telephone interview. If you question weather or not your being scammed ask them to hang up and let you call your local office then proceed with talking dont EVER give info to these ppl

Sure they call...I have missed calls, and returned calls, playing phone tag until finally set a date to COMPLETE our interview, because I have an attorney who is filing my claim, so I go DIRECTLY through SS. My attorney will send a letter telling me to call, I leave a message, and they call back. So on and so forth... SO INDEED, THEY SURE DO CALL!!!
