Scam- Posing as Spectrum (Robocall) reported by


⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ SCAM! This is NOT Spectrum! It is someone posing as Spectum, trying to get your personal info (credit card) by attempying to collect a fake debt via automated message! They call relentlessly and the recording prompts you to enter your phone #, tries to convince you that your account is past due (even if it is not, or even if you are not a Spectrum customer) and cautions you that you're in danger of service interruption and tries to get you to enter your credit card info for 'payment'. ****SPECTRUM DOES NOT EVER CALL YOU FOR PAYMENT!!!!**** They send a notice via mail and will send a message straight through your TV, then simply cut off your service until you pay your bill. Spectrum also does NOT have any number with an '844-206' prefix! Spectrum's billing number is a toll free '855' number (1-855-70-SPECTRUM)! In fact, they only have one '844' number (their business advertising number, 844-ToReach). Please do not fall for this scam! It is an overseas scam that Spectrum is aware of! These scammers are calling Spectrum and non-Spectrum customers. Please report these calls too the FCC, FBI, and to Spectrum! Also, search the numerous complaints on this number (you can do a simple Google search on any number that you are unsure of and usually find out if it is safe). These scammers are also trying to convince people to sign up for 'Spectrum' and then stealing their credit card info. THIS NUMBER IS NOT SPECTRUM!!!!⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
