While I know this to be a call from spectrum regarding a payment I needed to make, I urge anyone who gets a call from this number to check their account balance online before paying. Scammers can spoof the numbers of legitimate businesses, and then pose as representatives of those companies when you answer.

Automated message claiming to be Spectrum calling about a recent payment/issue. I checked my account online. All payments have been successful. Wanting you to call back in 24hrs is a sign it's a scam trying to evoke a feeling of urgency.

Left a voicemail stating my payment for spectrum couldn't be processed. Checked online, said pending and balance due was 0. Checked account last night said pending. This morning, everything was processed through charter and my bank with 0 action on my part. After looking up the spectrum billing and payment number, I'm about 97.3 percent sure this is a scam.

This isn't a spam call. This is Charter Spectrum trying to collect a bill. My credit card had expired and I received this call. Log on to the Spectrum website (not going to enter it here for safety reasons) and go to your Autopay settings.

a reverse look up said that the number was Time Warner. But I didn't call them, or contact them w my cell only ever contacted them with the house phone cause that's w them. The cell phone didn't ring cause that # isn't in my contacts. That's not even my area code: no way even near it!
