Deap accent man asked if I wanted a discount on my telus services so I asked him to confirm my details all addresses he told me were absolutely incorrect then he tried to proceed to offer me to upgrade my cell phone so when he was unable to provide me with my correct address I had a call on my other phone when I said I would call back he said he was in Vancouver BC and provided a BC number not a 888 or 800 number this is absolutely fraud

Called me in Quebec (showed telus from california on display), so I answered in french thinking that would screw them up, he immediately replied in french and asked for me by first and last name. Not sure who or what it was so i said you have a wrong number in french and he said sorry and we hung up.

I received a phone call from this number @ 6:30PM and it was an Indian sounding lady who said that someone tried to purchase something online with my information from Telus and they were calling to verify if it was me or not I even got a text message about it so I proceeded to give her my information like my address, my name and my birthday and then the phone call ended like two minutes after that and at first I thought it was honestly telus because I just signed up with them two weeks ago with my phone number …… but something didn’t sit right…. So I googled the number and see all these awful reviews and letting me know it was a scam. I had no idea. What do I do?. :(

When I answered the phone, the person spoke a language I did not understand. And then I asked where he/she is calling from, they answered in English with very strong accent so that I totally did not get what they said. And then they asked me 'what phone I am using, Apple, samsung...' I was confused and I repeated their question, and the people suddenly swearing (using words like "are you fxcking hearing me"). I was totally shocked and hung up the phone right away.

True to that his number is Telus’ Customer Service number but those using it aren’t Telus’ staff. These are fraudsters. I really don’t know how they do it cos if you call the number back, it actually goes through to Telus but upon my enquire from Telus, the so-called promo and bonanza being marketed is definitely not on Telus menu. Run far away from these callers. They are fraudsters! Do not give your details whatsoever. Telus won’t ask you for details, details already in their system. A word is enough for the wise!

Although they call in with a Telus official number, I believe it is routed to another line. They gave me a nice deal which I foolishly accepted and provided my personal details. They sounded very much like the real deal. Glad I followed my intuition and set Fraud Alert with Credit Bureaus & blocked my cards. I received a call from a different carrier confirming if I had ordered a phone. Heaven knows how much I'd have lost had I not been proactive with blocking my cards and setting Fraud Alerts.

My phone short call from Telus so I answer the car it was the East Indian guy with very thick accent I tried to sell me home Internet for a very low price unfortunately I gave him some information like my address He asked for two pieces of ID my driver license and he wanted my credit card number which I didn’t give it to him he asked for the second ID hey give me 4 options and I gave him my passport number after I finish the phone call I called Telus to see if it was legit phone call I found out it was not I do not know how much of a damage the sky can do to me with this information that I gave him I hope he won’t be able to do anything and he will get caught before scamming any other people anyway if you get a phone call like that don’t give any information

Offered fantastic discount on Telus TV and phone service. Hard to understand the person due to loud back ground noise and strong language accent. I stated that I did not beleive it was Telus calling, and said goodbye!
