Scammer accessing your AT&.T account. (Scam call) reported by


They call you pretending they are AT&T taking a survey. They offer a rebate for your participation. And they manage to have a verification code sent to your iPhone. I made the mistake of reading this verification code that to them. When they asked for my passcode I immediately hung up. Even without the passcode it was too late. We manage to please themselves as an authorized user on our account. Then they try to buy five iPhones from a local Best Buy. Fortunately they were denied because they could not provide a passcode and prove they were actual authorized users. If you receive a phone call from this number, do not provide any information or engage them no matter how authentic they sound.
