I am glad everyone else feels like this is a legit number, but I got text asking if I had made a recent large charge at a place that I frequently shop. I had not, but I responded no, but upon reading the text better I realized that the scam alert was for US Bank account, which I don't own. They have been calling all morning trying to get my information...screams phishing scam to me.

Potential fraud on my card (Financial services) reported by


I got a voicemail saying there was potential fraud on my card and to call them to prevent problems using my card in the future. It was computer generated. Main issue was it said the card belonged to someone else. It did state the last 4 digits of the card, but none that I owned. Also, they called me at my work number, and that number was assigned to me only a week ago, so maybe the guy didn't update his data.

Regarding fraud charges on nbt card (Service) reported by


Received a text then a call. I was suspicious and asked what bank they are calling for They said my NBT credit card ring in XXxX. This was correct. They had my name and needed more info to verify me, I quickly said my address and they said it was correct as they had listed. She said I had fraud charges. She said they were flagged and denied. Then she read off my most recent 3 charge amounts and company that I charged the amounts. These were correct. I did charge the exact amount as she said. But there were 2 fraud charges to iTunes which was not me that immediately were denied and I was notified. My credit card account online was immediately locked and I could not log on until this was resolved. I fully believe this is a legit call.
