I spoke to 'Shirley Brown', who spoke with a very thick foreign accent. Also, it was obvious she was calling from a boiler room operation which was milling away in the background. She hung up after she realized I was on to her.

NEW SCAM. Phone Number Mirror (Scam call) reported by AVB This phone number is the actual PSE&G Customer Service number. My Scammer "Mirrored" the real phone number and is posing as an actual PSE&G employee. Be wary of these New Scams. My Scammer was asking for my invoice number to give me "Free Money". If this was an actual PSE&G employee, they would know my full name and address. This scammer did not even know my first name let alone what town I have PSE&G service. He quickly hung up after I told him that he has my number, he should have my full name and address, too.

I checked with PSE&G customer service and asked if they make outgoing calls from this 800 number. I was told that they do not. Typically 800 numbers are toll free numbers that customers use to contact a company. I believe someone is spoofing the PSE&G toll free number. I block the call.
