PSEG scam saying that our power was going to be turned off. (Scam call) reported by


this scammer trie to say that our bill was not paid. they had ALL of our account details. All of them, including the exact amount we owed on our current bill. They did not know we have autopay, we kep them on the line and then said we'd be reporting them and they hung up.

Avista utilites scam (Scam call) reported by


They called me and a woman with a heavy Spanish accent told me that their technicians would be out in 25 minutes to shut off the power at my business because we missed a payment. She wouldn't tell me which meter, which account etc. She gave me a number to call for customer service and hung up on me. I called that number and it was again a person with a very heavy accent who demanded that I give my debit card information to them so they could get it taken care of. I knew I was paid up so I hung up and called Avista who told me this was a scam.
