I called my bank and they checked the number. They knew my last four digits of my debit card and that it was from the right bank. Very successful scam. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO. GO DIRECTLY THROUGH YOUR BANK!!! Your bank WILL NOT call you about possible fraudulent charges my bank told me.

THIS IS A SCAM!!!! They will call right after you’ve made a purchase and claim to be your bank and even have the last 4 digits of your card. Do not trust them, and DO NOT call them back!! Call your personal bank number if you are not sure, that’s what I did and they said it was 100% a scam.

I got an Email re: a 39.95 charge that they were alerted by as a fraudulent charge. I went to my bank account on my phone and started looking over my account transactions. Sure enough, start a month ago, US-PS $59.99 for change of mail? What the heck? Then $.05, $5.00 INDER "YOUR-DS' and now I am having to go through my Paypal to find strange small interactions that I cannot account for. I didn't see the $39.95 charge on my bank account because they actually did alert to it and blocked it. I NEVER answer my phone when it is not a recognized number. Maybe they tried to call me, idk. They cancelled my card and now I have to wait for 7-10 days for me to be able to sell om Ebay again. :( I did not call that number, I called the number on my debit card.

I got a call from this number about a possible fraud on my debit card. I looked up this number an saw that it's listed as a scam. I contacted my credit union directly and they confirmed this was a phishing scheme. Hope you did not give them any information on your account as it is probably now compromised. As suggested by my bank, I changed my username and password immediately.

We were travelling and used our card a few times, missed this call, and when I went back to listen to the voicemail it was the bank verifying that it was me. It doesnt ask you for any info, just asks to verify the info that they have, so it's definitely not a scam.

Received a VERY bizarre voicemail tonight regarding "suspicious" activity on my debit card from my bank’s supposed fraud dept. Well.. it was a legit purchase that I made on Etsy. I received the voicemail within seconds of making the purchase so I’m thinking that my Etsy account had been hacked. I usually pay with PayPal, but I didn’t this time.. maybe this was a mistake. The voicemail told me that all further transactions on this card would be suspended until I call them. I almost called, but caught myself before I did! Anyways, my debit card activity has NOT been suspended and the transaction DID go through. Garbage call, don’t take it and don’t call them back!!

Actual text notification from Fraud center. I checked my bank account first and saw 3 charges that I did not make. Then I received call from rep. She had same info as shown on my actual account and stated my account was now blocked and to go to financial institution to get new account number. After calling my bank, all info was verified and said was a true fraud alert. I now have to go to bank to set up new account. This has happened to me before and I was saved thousands of dollars by the Fraud Alert company. This time they saved my a few hundreds of dollars. I am fortunate that this was a REAL deal. It doesn't mean there are not negative or scammers out there. I just recommend you check with your banking institution first before believing it is real.
