Called claiming someone used my account to buy an IPhone for $900, press 1 to cancel. They called while I was sleeping and in my half-sleep state I pressed 1. it hung up on me. Check my orders, nothing was placed. Called again tonight, comes up on my caller ID as Amazon, when I answered it hung up.

I just received a call from Amazon that someone was trying to use my account to buy an IPhone. I spoke with someone and explained they called me about this invalid purchase.....they hung up on me. Called the 888 number listed on my Caller ID...seems to be a legit Amazon phone number, but couldn't leave a message and call was disconnected after she got through with her "spheel". ???

Yes I posted this above I didnt understand the layout of the site. My Mom just got a call from the and came in my room because she thought that she just lost 705$ I quickly recognized it as an internet scam and searched up the number and told the guy to f off he instantly hung up

They left a message saying they were Amazon, and $749 worth of stuff has been ordered with my account. Riiiiiight… nasty scammers! AND they called again a few days later and left a frickin' voicemail! AAAAARG! more scam, probably 4th or 5th call now. Another call, 7/21/20.

I did not answer. They left a recorded voice mail "ford representative please press one or simply stay on the line. please press one to connect with our customer support team." I don't own a Ford. robot was already talking when voicemail picked up so don't know what I missed.
